Help Tei Fight Cancer

So this is it. I am letting the reality out in the open. It’s been 3 months since I started dealing with this battle. I had a lot of tests done, took a lot of meds and had a surgery just 3 weeks ago. Let me share with you my story and how it all started.

I had a pap smear done in June and got the results in July which shows HSIL (Abnormal cells) these are pre cancer cells. I was referred to an OB Oncologist and we did Colposcopy with punch biopsy, results came back with Carcinoma in situ which is the earliest stage of Cervical cancer. Because I was just 34 years old, the Onco suggested that we do Conization (LEEP) instead of having my cervix removed. I agreed and so we did the surgery. They took some tissues from the outside and inside of my cervix and sent it to the lab for biopsy again. LEEP is both Therapeutic and Diagnostic, so if no abnormal cells will be found from the tissue inside I am considered good. The results came last September 1 and sad to say, I have Cervical Cancer Stage 1A1. I felt sad but at the same time thankful. Why? Sad because I have cancer but thankful because it was found at a very early stage and it is very curable.

What’s next? I will be having a Radical Hysterectomy. Another surgery but this time to remove my whole Cervix and Uterus. Then they’ll send it to the lab again for another biopsy to check if the cells have spread to the pelvic wall and lymph nodes (which I am hoping not). Then they will have to decide after if I have to do Radiation and Chemotherapy. Sana wag na

I have not been allowed to work for about a month now and my money were all used for the tests, medication and sugeries, I am even in debt to some. This is really a hard battle to be in but worrying and stressing won’t help and it might make the situation worse so I will try my best to not be stressed. I will lift everything up to God and trust that he will provide and help me get through this.

Radical Hysterectomy will cost around 250k as per my Doctor. I do not have that money to get the surgery done yet and I honestly do not know where to find it. And so, I am personally knocking to your kind hearts to help me raise the funds needed. Any amount will be a great help. I know God will provide and he will use my friends as tool for his provisions.

Please help me pray for my healing and recovery. I have 2 kids that I would still want to see grow and I have a beautiful life to live. I still want to make beautiful memories with my family and friends.
