Campaign Story
Sophia Atilla Custodio-Malasarte started suffering hyper-acidity last June of 2017. Since then, she underwent checkups regularly and taken medications. Until this August, she started vomiting and irregular bowel movement. She rushed into Medical City in Pasig and her doctor suggested that she needed to undergo endoscopy. It was then discovered that most of the solid food she took were all stored in her intestines and that her stomach were not able to digest all the food she is taking, thus resulting into vomiting.
Her doctor decided that she will undergo GASTRECTOMY where her stomach will be surgically removed. Thankfully, the operation was successful. A biopsy was then conducted and after a week, she was diagnosed with GASTRIC CARCINOMA(GASTRIC CANCER), and it was on Stage 4.
Her doctor said that she will undergo chemotherapy and continuous medication.
We are hoping that we can raise funds for the medication of my sister-in-law. She is 31 years old, married and has three beautiful children, namely, Allen (9), Jewel (7) and Chloie (5).
