Help ship books to School of Hope Library in Kenya

Jambo! I work at school of Hope Kenya, together with volunteers and teachers we have set up a Mini Library for children's in kibera slums , Nairobi Kenya. Access to books on every child in slums is a big problem and expensive considering the poor background some of them are coming from, not to even mention cases of high number of them being orphans.

We managed to build and set up a room equipped with book shelves, chairs,tables and electricity. We hope God willing if our prayers will be answered of which I know and believe will be answered, we want to ship in more than 3000 copies of books from Books2Africa organization gave us for free (books2africa.org). We are therefore fundraising for shipping cost.

The Library will be a resource center for all children's and youths from the community regardless of their age, culture,religion or race, they will access books and information at any given time at NO charge. We shall really be grateful to have good friends and welshers who will join our hands to fund rise with us and to see this dream coming true.

It will be our joy to see if only young girls learn how to read, go back to school, stop child prostitution, child labor, early marriages, forceful circumcision and the spread of HIV/Aids through the Mini Library, full of information that me and you are on the mission to build and to make it happen!
