Help Scholar become Delegate at Model United Nations

I am Rae Kayla Marie Magcalas, an incoming freshman (Legal Management) at Ateneo de Manila University and I would like to become a delegate from the Philippines to the Asia Youth International Model United Nations.

A month ago, I received an email indicating my acceptance to this MUN (after registering and qualifying). It is my dream to be part of an MUN (Model United Nations) as I know, this will help me practice diplomacy, youth mentality in leadership, and negotiation.

I have always dreamt of becoming a lawyer with a good sense of judgement and diplomatic skills. My country, the Philippines, needs trailblazers who actually serve the country and his countrymen more than the government. It is my dream to live in a country far from violence, unjust ruling and corruption. Asia Youth International Model United Nations will allow youths to become so much more. It is with my greatest pleasure to become the delegate of my country and prove the abilities of Filipinos to communicate, interact, lead and solve.

This program will be held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (Malaysia) from the 25th of August to 28th, 2019.

All this can happen with your help. You can help a scholar to represent her country and show the world how "Kabataan pa rin ang pag-asa ng bayan."

My parents are very happy and proud, however, as we are from a disadvantaged family, they cannot support me financially. My dad is a driver and his salary is just enough to cover our daily needs. I am the eldest of three and it is my responsibility to show them that poverty is and will never be a hindrance to one's success of achieving goals. I may be not as popular as the others who are asking to get funded, but, I am humbly asking for your support and knocking to your hearts.
