help save the life of a kitten suffering from FIP (feline infectious peritonitis).

I have come across this lovely baby two months ago in a park in Istanbul, Turkey. She could barely breathe and walk and was about to die. I immediately took her to a veterinary clinic and she received antibiotics and vitamin supplements for a month.

Happily, she showed signs of recovery as her breathing went back to normal, her appetite returned and there were glimpses of joy and playfulness. Unfortunately, she was later diagnosed with FIP, a fatal disease that develops and kills the infected cats within a short span of time.

I am sure you have seen the beautiful, adorable cats and dogs on the streets of Istanbul or of Turkey in general during your visit to the country or through videos such as this one:

However, there is a heartbreaking side to the story as well, as hundreds of cats and dogs die due to maltreatment, malnourishment or diseases. I have fought against the first two causes and have done my best but my hands have been tied for the last one until now. Two antiviral drugs have shown promise in the past few years for the treatment of cats with feline infectious peritonitis, which has been almost always fatal, however, the treatment is quite costly and in Turkey it costs around 10.000 Turkish Liras (1.000 British Pounds). doses and prices

It wrenches my heart to watch her fade away and I don't want to let her go without putting up a final fight. I am a student and a part time worker and it is impossible for me to collect the sufficient funds in time.
