Help Save Stray Cats and Dogs

The other day there was a stray kitten hiding under our apartment's stairs. We gave it some milk and placed it beside her, but it started to walk away and we noticed that her hind legs were lame. I wanted so much to bring her to the vet to get it checked, but alas, I was short in cash. That was the first and last time I ever saw that precious little kitten for 2 days after my boyfriend, found it amongst the trash.

This wasn't the first time that we've encountered a dying animal on the street. Here in India, not a lot of people care about stray dogs and cats. They would much rather take care of the cows. We might be one of the few who would actually be willing to lend a helping hand to them and we want to change that.

Every amount that you can spare will help raise awareness for these helpless stray dogs and cats. If more people knew about them, more people would care about them too. We want to save the lives of these dogs and cats, not only for a short while, but for the long run.

But I cannot do this alone. Having a good heart and good intentions are nice, but it is when we act on it that we are able to change and save lives.

With your help we would be able to provide newborn kittens and puppies with the veterinary care that they so badly need. We can spay or neuter adults. We can have these stray dogs and kittens checked by the vet and groomed, so that they, too, can have a forever home.

Every penny that you donate will go into the efforts of providing and caring for these stray cats and dogs, and ultimately, into finding them a family of their own. Our end goal is to put up our own dog and cat shelter here in Bangalore, India for none yet exists.
