Help Save Rhoy Dearick Martinez from Cancer

He is Rhoy Dearick Martinez, 20 and is currently battling with cancer.

Rectal cancer is more likely to happen in people older than 50. When it happens to younger people like Rhoy, it is considered rare.

He was diagnosed with Stage 3B Rectal Cancer last May 2019. He completed all his treatments including Radiation with chemotherapy, 2 major surgeries and 8 cycles of chemotherapy after operation. His last chemo session was supposedly March 2020 (as seen on the picture).

Rhoy's family already thought everything would be fine by then and that it is over. But unfortunately just this April 2020, CT and PET scans revealed another problem in his lungs where the cancer spreads and this requires him to undergo set of treatments for the second time.

My Tita who is supporting the expenses for his son's treatment is a single mom. She's very hardworking and she always make sure to work extra for her two kids. My Tita was able to let her oldest daughter graduate in college as a Medical Technician. Rhoy on the other hand is studying Bachelor in Marine Engineering before all of this happened.

Now that they're given another chapter to fight and survive this battle, we are imploring to whomever reading this for your kindness and generosity. Rhoy's family would be needing your support because they almost consumed all of their savings from the last one year of getting his medications.

We know for sure that Rhoy (my cousin) could bounce back for the second time around.
