July 27, 2017 Update:
We are beyond grateful for everyone who has extended their support to Maki Sollano. Your presence, messages, prayers and help really encouraged our brave friend to fight hard. It may be a long road ahead, but you have all given us a renewed hope! May God richly reward you all.
Maki is recovering from post operation complications. He is getting better and would like to extent his healtfelt gratitude to everyone.
After his operation, he has been seeking to be moved to a lower grade hspital bed and it is a long list. The hospital bill is now at Php600k+++. Unfortunately, this does not include the doctors fees and lab tests to clear Maki. His succeeding treatments will be more costly. we are seeking your gratefull hearts to assist in any shape or form. Your fervent prayer is much needed.

A good friend of mine, Nelson Sollano or Maki as we fondly call him, was hospitalized last week. In the same week he had to undergo a surgery. A day after, he was told by the doctor that he has cancer. A day after, Maki was told that the cancer is stage 3. News like this is always painful. Far more surreal when it happens to someone you care about. With a broken heart, we knock to your hearts. Please say a prayer for Maki's complete healing. It is in our nothingness that we realise that God is more than enough.
Maki Sollano needs all the help we can give. For just a week, their partial hospital balance is already more than Php400K. The healthcard will cover less than half of that. The doctor advised him to be in ICU, but for lack of resources, Maki opted to stay in a regular room and keep the faith for God's healing hand to be upon him. As you can imagine, his expenses will only be increasing.
My dear, friends, if you know how else we can get help, your suggestions and guidance will greatly be appreciated.
Please feel free to share this message to those who can help us. Do let us know if you need more details to verify his condition.
Thank you, dear friends. We pray for God to bless you a hundred fold as you journey with Maki's God-story.
