Hi everyone!

We’re reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to help our friend and High School Batchmate, SANDRA ROSARIO and her family, and we need your help! You may have heard that Sandra’s father, Rudy is currently at the middle of a battle against the BIG C.

RUDY ROSARIO, fondly called ‘Daduds’ by his family and close friends, was initially admitted in a Hospital in Cavite, due to the swelling and numbness of his lower limbs. They were told that he will be placed and categorized as CoVid-19 (Suspect) Case. They were been also asked for initial deposit of P 50,000, which they couldn’t afford at that moment. The family declined for they suspect it was not really a CoVid-19 Case and decided to transfer to another hospital.

At first, he was been turned-down by few public hospitals in Manila due to these overwhelming numbers of patients; because of the current CoVid-19 Pandemic situation in the country. He is now confined at Metropolitan Hospital in Manila; Rudy, was diagnosed with PROSTATE CANCER.

Cancer cells are already sprawled throughout his prostate and also according to his Attending Physician(s), he will no longer be able to walk for his nerves at back are now compressed and have been trapped which affects his legs and its ability to move. Doctors are also looking at the risks that Cancer cells spreads extensively and afflicts his other internal organs.

Daduds is a responsible and a loving father, also a caring and loyal husband to his wife Ollie. He worked as an OFW how many years to support Sandra and her siblings’ studies and continued to work to provide for the family until his retirement. Throughout his life, he persevered despite the struggles. He managed to survive and his family in the midst of any hardships.

As of today (May 25, 2019), the family had only been able pay the initial deposit amounting to P 20,000 that they take on loan from some relatives. Daduds still needs to undergo series of tests and treatments which costs a lot of money. As of this time, he as well as needed blood donors (of any type) to replace the blood bags he consumed since the day he got admitted to the hospital.

Daduds still has a long way to go to fully recover from this ordeal, he was actually just started his battle with the illness. This is why we are humbly appealing to your generosity. We would highly appreciate whatever amount you can donate to help pay Daduds medical bills.

We all love our friend Sandra, because she’s kind and bubbly in character; a nice and caring friend who has always been there whenever you needed her. Now is the time for us to be there for her and support her all through her hard times because of father’s condition. The effects of her father’s illness are devastating her family.

Please help Daduds recover and get healthy again. Please support Daduds overcome this so he can still be with his family that love him so dearly.

We can’t cure Daduds, but we surely can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that the family is facing. Our goal is to raise the minimum P 100,000 for them, to help them pay Daduds medical bills.
