Help reunite Mr. Bashir’s family

I am an afghan refugee living in Romania and I haven’t seen my wife and five children for six years. I am trying to bring them in Romania from Afghanistan through family reunification, but I can’t afford to buy the app. 4000$ plane tickets from Kabul to Bucharest.

Every time I thought I am close to the end of waiting, a new problem appeared and demoralized my wishful thinking.

My family reunification request was initially rejected by the Immigration in Romania because I could not prove the family ties as my children do not have official civil registry documents. We fled Kabul because of the Taliban threat and were too preoccupied to save our lives to worry about official documents.

After three years of supported efforts, a Court in Bucharest finally approved the reunification request following a positive DNA test realized with support from the International Organization for Migration in Pakistan. It was a great success and a very soothing moment.

With great efforts, I managed to raise by myself the money to buy tickets from Kabul – Dubai – Bucharest, but yesterday, when my family arrived in Dubai, they weren’t let to continue their route to Romania and returned to Kabul because they didn’t have retour tickets.

All our travel arrangements are lost now and we need to raise money to buy them again so all the efforts I’ve made so far to bring my family in Romania would not be in vain.
