Two weeks back, Snoopy , a community dog, was hit by a local school bus nearby Itina Neela Appartments, Elctronic City, Bangalore, and was left to die on the road. He had multiple fractures in his hind legs along with a pelvic bone fracture which is extremely hard to treat.
Snoopy going in for Surgery at Cessna Clinic
However, even with little hope at hand the rescuers didn’t give up on Snoopy and decided to go ahead with costly and risky surgery to give him a least one more chance. Right now, we are happy to inform that because of persistent efforts from doctors in Cessna, which included 5 hours of continuous surgery by Dr Ramesh, and his post-op care, his treatment has been a good success.

Snoopy is underway for a full recovery and he will be able to move normally in few weeks time. He is still under medication.
"A life which could have been lost was saved, thanks to the persistence of the rescuers and the doctors who attended to Snoopy even when there was very little hope", says Dr. Ramesh, who treated him.
Unfortunately, the cost of surgery and post-surgery medical expenses is way beyond the capacity for rescuers to pay back to Cessna Hospital.
Your contribution and support for Snoopy can help him get back on his feet.
