Help Regine Beat Thyroid Cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Regine, and I'm reaching out to you for support in my battle against Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. At 31 years old, living in the Philippines, I never imagined I would be facing such a challenging journey, but here I am, fighting with all my strength.

In May 2022, I received the devastating diagnosis of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma Stage 2. Following this, I underwent a Total Thyroidectomy in June 2022, followed by RAI Therapy in August 2022. With the incredible support of my family, friends, and health insurance, I was able to navigate the emotional and financial burdens that come with such a diagnosis.

However, in November 2023, a routine ultrasound revealed suspicious lymph nodes in my right neck. Subsequent biopsy confirmed the presence of cancer cells related to Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. My doctors recommended a Neck Dissection on my right neck. Further investigations revealed suspicious lymph nodes in my left neck as well, leading to the decision to proceed with a Neck Dissection on both sides in January 2024.

Despite my best efforts to prepare financially, I've exhausted my health insurance and depleted the savings I had earmarked for medical expenses, covering previous bills. As of today, I face a balance of 250,000 pesos (USD 4,500), which includes doctors' fees and funds required for my upcoming Radioactive Iodine Therapy scheduled for February 19, 2024.
