My family and I are asking for help for my older brother Prenelito “Lito” Monte where he was confined in the ICU of Sa Kaeo Crown Prince Hospital in Thailand.

In the early morning of June 28, 2019, the day before his 44th birthday (June 29), he had a hemmoraghic stroke which caused him fell and hit his head in the bathroom floor. His wife found him unconscious and rushed him to the nearest hospital of Cambodia. The doctors find out that there is a blood clot building in his head and needed the surgery ASAP. Unfortunately, the hospital is not capable enough to do the surgery and transported him to the hospital in Thailand. The surgery was a success but needed to stay in the ICU where doctors closely monitored his condition.

Our beloved brother Lito or Bhing, a Filipino national living in Cambodia, is not just a brother to us. He became the mom and dad for his 4 siblings. Growing up, he helped take care of us when our parents are away. Helped provide for the family. Gave us allowances for school and helped financially to finished our studies. Lito, the sole provider of his own, has 2 beautiful sons and is married with Da LY, a Cambodian national who just gave birth 2 months ago with their youngest Renzo. Enzo, 8yo, their oldest. Taking good care to both kids and husband, we know is hard enough for her as we are not there (Thailand) to help her take care of our brother.

We are very blessed to have a brother like him. For those time we needed him he is always there for us and never failed to give us in any kind of support we need. This time, we think that it is our time to give it back. But with the average of 15,000 Thai baht (almost $500) daily consumption in hospital bills and medications, our family’s is running out of budget. That is why, we are now asking publicly for financial help for our brother to survive.

For those who knows our family, we never ask help publicly. But this time of need, a life and death situation, we are asking deeply from our hearts to please help us financially to pay for the hospital bills and medications for our older brother. Any humble amount will be greatly appreciated. Also, help us pray for his fast recovery. The power of prayer has never failed us.
