Campaign Story
Eight year old Razu works in a rickshaw factory. He earns about 500 taka (7 USD) a month, working 10 hours a day. When the production often stops due to lack of electricity, he has time to play.
It is common in Bangladesh for children of poor parents to work in various hazardous and labour-intensive workplaces to support their families. 17.5 percent of all children aged between 5-15 are engaged in economic activities.
The average child labourer earns between 400 to 700 taka (1 USD = 70 taka) per month, while an adult worker earns up to 5,000 taka (1 USD = 70 taka) per month .
Become a sponsor of a poor child's education costs in Bangladesh. Monthly minimum you can pay as much as 500 rupees according to your ability. 500 taka is not too much for many At our own expense in our country there are a number of organizations that are just trying to help poor people in their own interest, helping them with their studies. If you want, help them or help yourself.
I hope you do not get me wrong. We're all for everyone .
