Help Our Father Fight for Chronic Kidney Disease (Thru Dialysis)

Last September 24 around 8PM, my father was rushed to Ospital ng Imus here at Imus City, Cavite due to high fever and he also vomits and chills. He undergone several tests like, CBC and Blood Chem. The laboratory test result shown that his Creatinine level was high. But the doctor advised my mother to transfer my father in another hospital for further tests.

September 28, 2023, my mother took him in De La Salle University Medical Center in Dasmariñas City, Cavite where he was checked up as Out-Patient. Based on the results of the tests conducted, the Creatinine shoot up from 71 to 700 to 1,100. The doctor said that he has to undergo an emergency dialysis. My mother had full of worries because we don’t have money for the dialysis of my father. That’s why they came back home that day. We plan of transferring our father to other hospital but hearing from the doctors that our father was in critical condition, any delay from that moment would risk our father’s life. So we decided to let him stayed in a tertiary hospital for proper medical treatment and intervention. My father was again brought to that hospital in September 30, 2023 for emergency dialysis.

Currently, he was still in the hospital. He has no HMO and jobless. My father is only 58 years . My mother is also jobless. Me and my other siblings have job but just enough for our daily living.

We don’t know where to get help to pay for his hospital bills as we all know that Dialysis is a very expensive procedure and a lifetime treatment. We have no money to pay for that.

It was at this point, that we realized we needed help from the community.
