Help Our Angel Battle Brain Cancer

Hi I'm Yanna, Angel's auntie. My niece is only 11-yr old when she got diagnosed with a brain tumor in our hometown, Zamboanga city. She was immediately flown to Manila City to have better medical care. In Manila, we were able to meet the best neurosurgeon who successfully removed the whole tumor in her brain.

Everything was going so well until her biopsy results came out and concluded that her tumor was malignant. Her pedia onco doctor confirmed that what she has is Brain Ependymoma. She now has to undergo radiotherapy.

Due to our global situation, our family has been badly affected by COVID and could not keep up with the medical bills. We are very very thankful for the funding that the government was able to provide during her in-patient stay in a government hospital.

Unfortunately, we can no longer avail the government aid because the treatment should be done as soon as possible and puting her on charity case will prolong the processing of papers as well as the procedures. We will have to raise an estimated amount of 300,00 pesos for her radiotherapy and other expenses. Funds for additional expenses such as lodging, medicines, medical supplies and transportation are also considered.

Despite all the daunting medical procedures Angel has been so brave and positive all throughout. She understands the things she has to go through in order to go back to her normal 11 yr old life and would always appreciate our honesty in her situation.

It hurts our family so much to see her go through something she never deserves. All she has been to us ever since she was born was a child full of light and love. She was just a normal kid who likes to draw and read books with her little siblings. Hopefully, you can help us give her normal life back.
