Hi there, my name is fr Gabriel.

I have a passion to help orphans and elderly people especially those abandoned by their relatives.

I have encountered some kids and elderly people in Zambia who really need the love and help. Help them in anyway possible.

The funds are urgently needed as the number of the orphans and elderly people keeps increasing in the area due to Covid.

The funds raised shall be used as follows:

To buy medicines for those who are sick.

Buy them some food.

Buy them some clothes.

And for the kids, we shall pay for their school fees and get them some school uniforms and books.

Your generosity will be highly appreciated.

PLEASE READ THROUGH, I HAVE POSTED SOME OF THEM AND THEIR STORIES.

The two girls are Maria and Janet They live in Mkushi.

With a yello cup is Maria. She is a double orphan, she partially sees. Janet is a single orphan. Due to lack of assistance both of them lack food and finances so that they can be in school and also have some clothes and other necessary things for a girl child.

This is James Silungwe. He is 8 years old and lives with his grandmother and aunt in Mkushi.

Both his parents died after a long illness. James has not enjoyed good health for sometime now. He feels sick very often; at the moment he has sores in his mouth and throat. He also has headache, diarrhoea and pain in the joints. His grandmother has been giving him medication for the past three months to make him feel better.

"The problem is that we hardly have food at home. Food has been a challenge. My everyday diet consists of Nshima with plain vegetables. And for breakfast, my grandmother usually prepares plain porridge which I eat with salt. We hardly have sugar and most of the food that I crave for." James is looking forward to the day he will be healed and be able to do all the things his friends do, like go to school and play football.

Michael Molyeni is 9 years old. He lives with his aunt in Chipata.

As a child, Michael was always sick and was hospitalised many times but no one knew what was wrong with him. It was not until he was two years old that he was Diagnosed with Hiv and started anti retroviral therapy for HIV. Michael then defaulted on his medication for close to a year after his mother became bedridden. There was no one to take him to the clinic for his doctor's appointments.

His mother could only watch his health deteriorate day by day. Michael lost his Mother in November last year from Aids related illness. And at this point, his health had also deteriorated. After the death of his mother, he moved in to live with his aunt in Kasempa Village in Mpulungu. His aunt then quickly rushed him to a local clinic were he was again put on anti retroviral therapy for HIV. Even though he has again started taking his medication, he still has health issues and he has developed ringworms all over his body.

Doctors have advised his aunt to be buying him a cream called Lotrimin Antifungal Clotrimazole cream for Ringworm but unfortunately his aunt has no money to be buying the cream and instead she has only been applying Aloe vera on the affected areas. Michael says he has no friends because of his HIV status and his skin which is horrible. He says parents in his community have asked their children to stay away from him. He says that there are also some older boys in the village who mocks him that his days on earth are numbered as the result he has isolated himself from people .

Michael believes that he will one day get out of his sick bed and live a normal and healthy life. Michael is therefore appealing to well wishers to come on board and help him with money to be buying Lotrimin Antifungal Clotrimazole cream for Ringworm and also some food.

Sharon Inonge is an orphan aged 6 and lives with her aunt in Chipata.

She has a condition (rectal prolapse) whereby when she goes to the toilet something ( rectum ) comes out of the anus then goes in again after some time. She has had this problem for some time now and it is so painful as the result she spends most of her time in bed.

Her aunt took took her to the hospital sometime back were advised to seek help (Surgery) at major hospital in Lusaka, unfortunately there is no money to enable travel to Lusaka and Carter for the surgery.

......&&&&&&&&&&&&......

These and many other kids...We are therefore appealing to you to assist these little ones. Any amount will go a long way.
