Help Olchulunoti Leina to complete his bachelor degree

Hi! I am Oluchunoti Leina, a 25 years old Maasai man born and raised in Engare Sero village on the shore of lake Natron in northern part of Tanzania. You probably saw my village in the distance in every other documentary about flamingoes, lake Natron is really famous for those! I attended Engare Sero primary school, Lake Natron secondary school and now I am trying to obtain a bachelor degree in Wildlife Tourism. Thanks to the kind sponsorship and support of Mr. Roger & Mr. Scott William I was able to get my ordinary diploma and currently I am successfully completing my first year in College of African Wildlife Management (Mweka College). The enrollment documents are available on the college website, you can just google my name, of contact college directly for any confirmation.

As you might have already guessed – my funds are running out and without external support I will have to drop out. “Go work and get money” isn’t a thing anymore here - because of COVID-19 pandemics and associated collapse of international tourism. That sector of economy is the main source of income for many families in Northern Tanzania where Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Kilimanjaro National Park and Maasai Mara are located and it took a devastating hit.

So if you can – please help me out. The funds I am asking for will cover a yearly tuition fee, dormitory and field trip for the whole year! Hopefully, the situation will improve in a year and I will be able to work and get the rest of the funding for the last year. I am not only looking for financial support here: I’ve tried to get scholarships externally, but without success so far. If you can advise me a good scholarship opportunity or provide any mentorship – that would be great.
