Campaign Story
Dear friends,
My brother's partner has just received news that her mother is clinically brain dead after an unfortunate traffic accident whilst she was on her way to work in Northern Thailand. As some of you may well know, being clinically brain dead means that there is practically a zero chance of recovery.
Nom, who is only 53 years of age, was driving her motorbike on her daily business run, and was struck from behind, only 1 kilometre from her destination. Nom is the family matriarch. Her drive & passion for her family meant that she worked tirelessly for years, just to be able to provide her two daughters, Apinya and Supawan, with the life she always dreamed of, but couldn't have.
Nom's whole life has revolved around helping others, even when it meant sacrificing her own dreams. She is the type of woman who would do anything to put a smile on someone's face.
To make things worse, Nom is the main driving force behind the family business, and although her husband will most probably continue where Nom left off, you can imagine how this is going to be a long & difficult road to normality.
I am therefore asking for your help. If we all donate a small amount to this pot, we can collect a nice lump sum to help Nom's husband get back on his feet, and for Supawan to finish her university degree. As you can imagine, with the global pandemic going on right now, things were already tight for the family, and with one daughter out of work due to the pandemic, another daughter in university, and a grieving & distraught husband, their financial situation is only going to become bleaker.
Your help will be very much appreciated, and will go a long way in helping this family get back on their feet in these trying times. The family would like to thank you in advance for any help and may
