Campaign Story
Hi everyone! After my family's difficult trial when we lost my second child, a new battle has begun.
October 12, 2019 I was diagnosed with Stage 3A Invasive Mammary Ductal Breast Cancer.
It all started when I felt pain and a huge lump in my right breast. All along we thought it was just Mastitis because I wasn't able to express my breast milk since my second son, Zion Draco, was delivered stillbirth. After taking some antibiotics the lump and pain is still there. So the doctor asked to have ultrasound done. 3 huge lumps appeared in the ultrasound of my right breast around 8x7 cm. And inflamed lymph nodes (kulani) in my right axillary region.
Immediately Core Needle Biopsy was requested and our fear was confirmed. I have Breast Cancer stage 3. Other series of expensive tests are still being done just to rule out metatasis of cancer to other organs or stage 4.
Surgery can't be done immediately since my breast mass are too huge to be excised. I had to go 8 cycles of chemotherapy before my mastectomy and another 6 months of medication after my surgery. Each cycle of chemotherapy would cost us hundreds of thousands not including my other medications and tests yet. Total of all the expenses would cost us more than 2M.
We are asking your good hearts to please help us in my battle against cancer. My eldest son is still too young to lose his mom. My husband already lost a son and I hope and pray that we can still grow old together. I can't afford to lose in this fight. Our faith has been really tested this year, But it will not falter. We will keep in praising God in the midst of all these. I know He will help us get through it physically, mentally, financially and emotionally.
With your help and prayers help me kick cancer in the ass with a smile to continue praising God and be a living example of how God works if we just keep the faith and positive outlook in life.
