Help Nelson Carillo fight STAGE 5 Chronic Kidney Disease

This was made as a support page for a kid named Nelson Carillo from the Philippines who is suffering from Stage 5 Kidney Disease. He was diagnosed on May 2020. The disease is in need of a kidney transplant if at all possible but since organ donors are scarce and the operation will cost a lot of money the only way for him to extend his life is to undergo Dialysis thrice a week not to mention his medication which costs a good sum of money.

He needs at least 200-300 dollars per week just to live and he is literally fighting to LIVE. Everyday is a struggle not only because of the many medications and restrictions in his diet, he also is in need of blood donors constantly because of his dialysis. There is no infinite supply of blood available and under the current circumstances (COVID-19) things are not getting any easier.

We are asking for help, monetary or your blood (weird as it may sound). The kid is in need of blood donors of any blood type to be used for his dialysis until the family can find a kidney donor. If there are people who are willing to donate money, that would be a great help as medicine bills are only getting higher and as he is not fit to work, money is very very tight for their family.

A kid is trying to fight to live. If there is any chance that you want to help, no matter how tiny you think it might be, maybe you don't have the cash or the means to donate blood, you can still share this post. Let people know that there is a life waiting to be saved.

Hi, I am Nelson Carillo from the Philippines. I was diagnosed with stage 5 chronic kidney disease last May 2020 . life is really hard right now due to the current pandemic and I need to undergo dialysis treatment three times a week (tuesday, thursday and saturday) to maintain my health and also i need to take medications. most of my medications are very expensive and sometimes i skip taking doses. i live with my mother who is already a senior citizen and i am classified as a person with disability with my disease, i am really hoping to find a job that fits me when my health gets better and also hoping that this pandemic would end soon. i am kindly asking for little help for my dialysis treatment and medication and also hoping to be a recipient of a donor's kidney in the future, thank you.
