Help! Needed urgent funds for funding my internships

This letter is intended to inform you about my extreme financial hardship, in the hope it will further my chances of receiving funds for my internships. My mother is a single parent as a result of this, she will not be able to pay the fees as we thought at the time I made my application. I am hoping for a career as a marine biologist and have received excellent grades so far in all of my courses. I plan to do my best to receive top grades in order to have a good chance for a scholarship to attend graduate school to focus my studies on marine biologist.
I would be very grateful if you could adjust the amount of financial aid you offered me, as it would make the difference between me continuing my education or stopping and getting a job. My aim is to work hard and graduate first class. I will be happy to send you any more information or fill out any application forms required.
