Campaign Story
Please help for stopping puppy mills in Korea
There are approximately 3000-4000 not registered puppy mills in Korea which take away animals' entire lives. The puppy mill market has been drastically increasing by reaching over a trillion market value. Some breeders do 'mass production and mass sales of lives' only for their commercial profits without any responsibility for each life.
The female dogs in puppy mill are found in cages barely larger than their own bodies. All they can do is spin in circles as they are kept constantly caged and given no exercise. Being confined to dimly lit, filthy, cramped cages causes physical and psychological suffering. Many of them suffer from hip dysplasia, a common condition in puppy mills, caused by continuous breeding. They are often exposed to animal waste and dirty food and water. They sit in their own urine and feces, develop heinous infections of their hair follicles due to lack of grooming, and get kicked or hit when they “misbehave.”The female dogs are bred constantly and when they can no longer breed, they are often abandoned or killed.
When dogs are killed in puppy mills, they aren’t sent out of this world by a licensed veterinarian who delivers a shot to calm the animal and then another to stop his or her heart. Instead, these animals are shot, drowned, or otherwise given a painful and brutal death.
Please give freedom to the breeding dogs spending their lifetime in cages.
Your help will save commercial breeding dogs and let them escape from puppy mills, get initial vaccinations, spraying or neutering and give them a final chance to find happiness and comfort in a loving home. Thank you in advance!
