Help “Nanay” Win Her Battle Against Colorectal Cancer

Hello, My Name is Crisanta M. Lim, I am the daughter of Merlinda M. Lim, 60 years old, who was diagnosed colorectal cancer on November 2016. After diagnosed, she then admitted to Manila Doctors Hospital and had colorectal surgery. It cost us 379,654.75 pesos in all including the doctors fee and hospital bills. Following that my mother went back to my hometown for she misses it so much. After one month she got diarrhea again because of the cancer recurrence. She then went back to Manila to pursue medical attention. Because we don't have 'money for the private hospital again, we went to PGH (Philippine General Hospital) for her medical needs but because of the slow system of the government hospital, we didn't receive medical treatments for her cancer. We would like to confine her but the hospital staff said they have a lot of patients so they can't provide bed at the hospital for my mother. We were hopeless that time, we saw our mother needs medical attention but we can't find good hospital for her needs. We tried other public hospital, San Juan de Dios Hospital. The doctor examined and prescribed medicine for her blood, he said we will spend money until the lasts coins that we have. We were hopeless, we saw our mother getting weak until one night we were at the emergency situation which drove us to bring her to Makati Medical Center. She was admitted and stayed at the ICU for 4 days. On her discharged we were so restless to see the bill worth 280,494.60 pesos. We seeked help, PCSO cover the 40 percent of our balance or promissory note worth 100,000.00 pesos. And now we are seeking for help for her continuing medical treatment for her battle for her colorectal cancer. She is not an ordinary woman, she gave birth to 13 children.
