Hello, My name is Anne and I live in the Philippines. Me and my brother decided to set up this project to gather funds for my mom's condition.

My mom Angie, 57 y/o is an OFW who worked in Dubai, she took a vacation and came back home last March, but didn't expect something to happen that resulted in her being unable to go back to work. She has been working there for 12 years, and comes home once in awhile to spend some time with us. My mom's original plan was to save up money and build a new house for us, since our old house was very run down already. Unfortunately, life doesn't always go the way you want it to, and we found ourselves in this very depressing situation.

She was diagnosed with Leukemia back in June 2022, but we still don't know what type it is, since we lack the funds for the lab test. Since then, each month we had to keep coming back to the hospital for her blood transfusions because her White Blood Cell count has become higher, and her Red Blood Cell count is lower than normal. Her health has been declining slowly ever since, and as of now, she is currently in the ICU because of difficulty in breathing and lung infection which resulted in pneumonia.

Her condition has slightly stabilized after being put into the ICU, but unfortunately we do not have the funds to pay the expensive cost of it. Hence why we started this fundraiser for my mom.

She still had a lot of plans for us, but this disease has stopped all of it. She is a very kind and hard working person who just wanted the best for her children. We know that the times are rough on everyone right now, but please, if you are able to donate even a small amount, we would greatly appreciate it.
