Fundraising campaign by Valerian Bulgariu
by Valerian Bulgariu
My grandmother was diagnosed with bone cancer.
This causes her vertebrae to disintegrate at the joints and causes terrible pains.
To reduce these pains, it is necessary to do what is called a vertebroplasty. In short, the joints must be cemented to prevent compression.
This procedure is not covered by the health care system and costs about 2000 euros for each vertebra.
In addition, the joints in the sacral area must also be cemented.
In total, it is about an estimated 70,000 euros over a period of one year.
