Help my dad in his battle against cancer

Hi everyone!

I'm Jose Escobar, First, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story. This year on, August 2023 my dad was diagnosed with highly aggressive form of Prostate Cancer [Prostate Cancer Gleason Grade 8].

He needs an urgent surgery to remove the cancerous tumour which at this time is concealed inside the prostate. However, time is critical and every day the risk of developing metastases increases. Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic my father's main source of income was severely affected due to extremely low sales and the close of many businesses where he used to offer a variety goods and services. This situation worsened in 2023 where debts reached a point where we are about to lose our home due to lack of resources to pay the house's mortgage.

For this reason, I'd like to kindly ask you for help of whatever amount of money your heart wish to contribute, even if it is just $1 it will help to save my dad's life as at this moment, we do not have the money to cover the expenses needed to cover the whole process (surgery + post-surgery treatment + medicine) that are above $ 10 000. My father does not have any medical insurance, and here in Ecuador social security insurance wants to schedule his surgery for late 2024 as there is not public resources available at this moment to perform the surgery as soon as posible. As I mentioned before, time is critical, and we cannot wait for that long.

My dad is just 58 years old, and he always has been a kind person, dedicated to his family and friends. He always put his best effort to raise me as a good person, with good moral values, and with a positive mentality to overcome even the worst and dire situations. The moment has come when I need to be in the role of protector, taking care of him as he did during my childhood days. But to do this, I need your help I cannot do this alone. Please, help me to get the money I need to cure my dad from this horrible disease.
