Campaign Story
Hello, my older brother is had a fire accident approximately two weeks ago and incurred minor burns in the process. We took him to a government hospital and he couldn't be admitted since the nurses are on strike here in Kenya for three months now. So we had to go to a private hospital Nazareth Hospital where the bill has escalated over the two weeks period. This happened when we were going through a rough crisis as a family.
I closed down my business in July 2017 while my mother sells food at construction site, business has not been good. Although, I was working with Kenyan electoral commission as a presiding officer, we used the remainder(after paying debts incurred when I closed my business) to admit him to the hospital. So on Sunday, 24th September the nurses at the hospital said he might be discharged on the 25th to avoid incurring more bed and nursing charges at the hospital.
They have noticed that we rarely visit him since the hospital is a short distance from home. Plus the added travel costs. Now we are stranded on how we are going to raise the entire amount he incurred at the hospital. My elder sister lost her job with the government youth polytechnic last year. We would like help to raise the amount as we look for ways to raise some on our end to help bring my brother home. He will still need nursing care at home. We will be forever grateful for any help we can get to bring my brother home.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
