Help Molly Spend Her Remaining Years Cancer Free

Molly is one of the many of abandoned hunting dogs. She was rescued last year in southern Greece, with leishmaniasis, arthritis, several tumors in her breasts and a tumor in her unirary bladder.

During her first surgery in March, the tumors were removed and she was also spayed. Her uterus was infected and had started rotting, a few weeks later and she would have died. Both biopsies, of the tumors in her breasts and the one in her bladder showed malignant cancer.

Next month, Molly went in for another surgery, and all her breasts from the right side were removed, to help prevent the spread of the cancer. The tumor in her bladder however is inoperable, and chemotherapy is the only thing that will help Molly live decently for a few more years. She has started her chemo tretatments, and she is responding well, while at the same time being treated for leishmaniasis.

Molly needs a total of 6 chemoptherapies, which will be done every three weeks, and cost 120 each. This campaign will help cover the cost of them, the cost of her last mastectomy that cost 200 euros, and hopefully some of her tests and medication.

Why all that effort to help one elderly dog? Because she is an individual, who deserves the best. Molly is happy. Since she lives in her foster home in Athens, she has gained weight, she loves her walks, and her spot on the couch, and this is her life. She only has one life, and she has spent most of it being neglected. We want her to have the best golden years she can possible have.
