HELP MEANARD STEPHEN ZARAGOZA FIGHT LEUKEMIA!

Dear friends, relatives and loved ones and all good Samaritans who will be part of changing my son's life.

I want to share with you my battle and the battle of my 6 year old son, Meanard Stephen Zaragoza. He was diagnosed with an Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) High Risk last May 18,2019. It is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many immature lymphocytes (a type of white blood cells). His doctor prescribe chemotheraphy for 3 years which began immediately after his diagnosis. Each chemotheraphy session and blood tranfusion is very expensive thus this campaign was created to assist him in his treatment expenses. He is currently undergoing chemotheraphy at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

In the past weeks we have tried to cover for the medical costs from the laboratories, procedures, blood transfusions and admissions. We have lined up for government assistance but there are still lots of cost that are not covered. We are grateful for the family and good friends along the way who continously extend their help as we would not be at this phase of treatment without them. At this time Meanard is in Induction phase of chemotheraphy which lower down his hemoglobin and platelet count and resulted to weekly blood transfusion.

He always says to me Mama I will be strong and I WILL FIGHT LEUKEMIA and soon I WILL BECOME A DOCTOR TO TREAT CHILDREN WITH LEUKEMIA CASES LIKE ME. It is killing me a million times when he cries because of IV cath insertions, everytime he needs to undergo fasting due to IT MTX and BMA procesures. If only I can get the pain from my son, i will not hesitate to get it.
