Help me survive!

As you might know, I have been building the project Lanta Deals for a couple of months and finished my funds, due to low season and some stupid decisions last year.
It is what it is! Someone told me, If you keep on giving away your feathers, suddenly you can not fly... So here I am.

A handful of people have been backing me for several months for daily bread while I have been working my ass off with the backend for Lanta Deals. Allow me to say that I am very proud of my work.

We have created a brilliant product that can be transferred anywhere on the planet. More on the project you will find further down in this text.

The reason I am making this awkward, shameful request, is that I am less than a week from getting evicted from my house, my bike is broken and I have not had any income since September last year with very important bills to pay. I will be all good in the next month, but right now, I have the biggest crisis ever.

I kindly ask for your support to help me survive until my company is floating again, and that will happen in the next months. The Lanta Deals is now fully prepared and today I did my first day of pure sales in Klong Nin. I am very hopeful that five of the resorts I visited today will join my project. In total, I have around 40 deals pending, but no contracts written yet.

It is a bit complicated to do this kind of business in Thailand. I am still waiting for my translated contract from my accountant, which has to be in Thai by Thai law, so I can start sending out my invoices. I will not be 100% of what I agree to when signing :)

Thais are massively in love with papers and stamps. With every invoice I send, I need to provide a copy of my DBD (company registration papers), copies of passport, visa, work permit, and bank statements. All with signatures and company stamps. But all this is in perfect order. Tomorrow, I hope I will get the files. Only Buddha knows.

Any contribution by pre-booking the booklet or a small donation would be highly appreciated. I am on the brink of getting evicted from my house, my bike is for repair among other shitty things. But still, I am in good faith in this shameful situation I got myself into by making bad decisions and investments. We are what we are. You are who you are and I write you cause we share some love, somehow.

You might ask yourself how I would have responded in a reverse situation...
If you can, please help out! I need to raise 50K THB in less than a week. It is not realistic that I will get paid, before that. All of Lanta is in a very tough financial situation, so my payments will be delayed.
Now the time is 01:15 and I will try to sleep, with the hope of finding a few baths in my Paypal tomorrow morning, or the sales wheels stop rolling. I am very serious!

About the Project

Lanta Deals is a groundbreaking venture aimed at boosting the economic and marketing landscape of Koh Lanta. By organizing Lanta hospitality services in a new set of category forums on Facebook and Instagram combined with a printed booklet, Lanta Deals is aiming to reach newcomers who are not in the local groups and pages. This goal will be reached by sponsored advertisements on the meta platforms, giving leads to the actual category.
By micro-financing the five category groups, let’s say the FOOD & DRINKS group: all businesses participating in the group will reach new customers.

By featuring advertisements and discount deals from local businesses, we aim to bring forth unparalleled visibility to participating businesses while offering exceptional savings to the local community and tourists alike.

In the same spirit, we are opening a window of opportunity for locals by providing booklets for them to sell directly to visitors.

Objective

To set up an effective, marketing system for businesses in Koh Lanta, by organizing and admin the businesses’ ads in five categories of Facebook Groups:

4. Tours & Travels
5. Shopping & Arts

B. To print and distribute 5,000 Lanta Deals Voucher Booklets, containing approximately 100-150 deals each, for 2023, with a total value of 40-50 000 baht.

What’s In It for Businesses?

• Massive Visibility: Your deals and advertisements will be marketed across platforms: the Lanta Deals website, Facebook, Instagram, and a dedicated Facebook category group.
• Physical Presence: Your business will have a presence in our booklet, displayed in our uniquely designed “Candy Box” to be placed at various strategic locations across Koh Lanta, including the participating advertisers, taxis, shops, and outgoing individuals.
• Zero-Cost Marketing: The amount a business invests in ads gets returned in the form of booklets, which the business sells to recover the investment.
• Multiple Deals: If your business has multiple facets, such as lodging, food, spa, etc., you can advertise across different categories to maximize visibility - to reduced price.
• Broad Audience Reach: Thanks to our extensive marketing efforts, each deal is estimated to reach directly between 5,000 to 20,000 consumers, and through the social platforms, will be viewed by millions.

The Financials

• Businesses will deposit 3,000 Baht initially, per booklet, to cover the design, printing, and app development.
• The outgoing balance is payable upon booklet delivery, or in three months payments.
• If the total investment is 7,000 Baht, one deal, we will provide the businesses with 14 booklets (worth 500 Baht each), a four-channel online presence, and digital ads across social media.
• This awakes the potential for a zero-cost investment if all 14 booklets are sold within 20 weeks.
• FCZ Thai Co. LTD will provide a VAT invoice for the complete amount.

For the Wider Lanta Community

This project isn't just for businesses. Anyone can purchase booklets for 250 Baht, or get the first two for free to make installments and earn a 250 Baht commission on each sale. This is a standard Thai salary and includes taxi drivers, tour operators, massage therapists, and many others, offering them a lucrative opportunity to boost their income. If the project is fully funded and all books get sold to this season’s visitors, the Lanta community will share the 900,000 baht in commission, which will boost the local economy, and help individuals pick up post-Covid
