Help me study at UM

Mă bucur să mă întâlnesc sau reîntâlnesc cu voi virtual. De curând, viața mea a început să meargă pe un drum foarte frumos, însă după mai multe încercări, am realizat faptul că nu pot ajunge pe acel nou drum al vieții mele singur. Acum câteva luni, am primit una dintre cele mai frumoase vești, spunându-mi-se că am fost selectat pentru a face parte din noul program de master al Facultății de Arte și Științe Sociale de la Maastricht University. Programul se numește Literatură Contemporană și Arte: Intervenții Culturale și Justiție Socială, iar scopul principal este ca eu să-mi însușesc cunoștințe de scriere și lucru în domeniul literaturii contemporane, axate pe problemele existente în societatea de azi (Black Lives Matter, drepturile migranților și refugiaților, discriminarea de gen, etc.).

Deși timpul pentru a-mi pune viața la punct a fost scurt și plin de incertitudini, am decis să mă lupt și să nu mă dau bătut până nu îmi văd visurile îndeplinite. Am fost și sunt mândru că am fost acceptat la una dintre universitățile de top din Olanda și Europa și sper din toată inima mea că voi putea să obțin ajutorul de care am nevoie pentru a putea avea parte de un final fericit.

Prin urmare, pe lângă taxele ce trebuiec plătite, costurile de trai și ajutorul din partea statului olandez, nu pot să îmi cumpăr jumătate din biletul pentru călătoria vieții mele. De aceea vin către voi cu această campanie de crowdfunding. Nu voi renunța și nu mă voi da bătut, deoarece sunt mai motivat ca niciodată să fac o schimbare în lume, iar acesta este primul pas. Pentru că citatul după care mă ghidez de foarte mulți ani este „Fii schimbarea pe care vrei să o vezi în lume”.

Acesta este unul dintre momentele în care orice ajutor din partea comunității mi-ar fi de mare ajutor. Deci dacă sunteți în măsură să puteți dona, v-aș fi foarte recunoscător pentru că mă ajutați să-mi sprijiniți studiile. Și promit, că pe prima pagina a primei mele cărți publicate, voi adresa negreșit mulțumirile comunității care m-a ajutat să-mi îndeplinesc visul.

Hey,

I am happy to meet or reconnect with you virtually. Recently, my life has started to go on a very nice path, but after several attempts, I realized that I cannot get on that new path of my life alone. A few months ago, I received one of the best , telling me that I was selected to be part of the new Master's program of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Maastricht University. The programme is called Contemporary Literature and Arts: Cultural Interventions and Social Justice, and the main aim is for me to acquire knowledge of writing and working in the field of contemporary literature, focusing on issues in today's society (Black Lives Matter, migrant and refugee rights, gender discrimination, etc.).

Although the time to get my life together was short and full of uncertainty, I decided to fight and not give up until I'd see my dreams come true. I was and am proud to have been accepted to one of the top universities in the Netherlands and Europe, and I hope with all my heart that I will be able to get the help I need for a happy ending.

Therefore, on top of the fees I have to pay, the living costs and the help from the Dutch state, I cannot buy half the ticket for the trip of a lifetime. That's why I come to you with this crowdfunding campaign. I will not give up and I will not give in, because I am more motivated than ever to make a change in the world, and this is the first step. Because the quote I have been going by for many, many years is "Be the change you want to see in the world".
