Campaign Story
Hey everyone! I am 22 years old and I originally come from Serbia. Right now, I am studying in Germany, and so far this has been the most rewarding experience of my life - I have met amazing people who are now close friends, I have met someone I love, and studying here has been so rewarding in numerous ways. However, I have been trying for so long to get a job and finance myself, but have been unable to do so. The place I am right now is rather small so jobs are scarce as it is, especially for someone who doesn't really speak German. I feel like, for the first time in my life, I found the people and place where I can be truly myself (after years of trying to fit in a society that doesn't accept me). But now, because I won't have the money to sustain myself, I am afraid all of that is going to end. I will have to go back to a toxic environment and leave everyone here who have truly become my family. It would be a dream come true if I would be able to stay here! This is why I need your help! Help me stay in Germany in a loving environment. Help me pay rent and buy food. Help me not to go back somewhere where I have to hide who I truly am.
