Help Me Start a New Life

Hi, I'm Jared Vallejo, I live in Guatemala, a Central American country. I am creating this campaign to get help in the form of economical stability while a go through the transition of moving from Guatemala to the UK.

With the help of a friend I was able to land a job on Europe. That's a huge deal and I cant waste the opportunity, probably once in a life time. But I dont earn that much money in my Tech Support job to take with me and provide for myself for the first 2 months. I make $640 per month and I need at least $2000 for things like housing and utilities. I need to afford a place to live and I will generate money only after the second month of being there. I also need money to legally certify the translations of important document such as Diplomas and letters of recommendation, since at this moment they are only in Spanish.

I already have my flight ticket, I leave Guatemala on Oct the 1st. and I need to gather the $2000 before I get there.

Let me explain how it will be used. In Europe, renting a shared house is between 350 and 450 Euros per month, (I need to months of it = $1000)

Also Utilities, transportation and food around 500 EU per months ($1000 per 2 months) I will also take out those 2000 dollars money to certify the translations of the docs I need to take with me, $20 dollars per page, = $240 total

I think is very important that in order for you to understand my urgency to leave my country I need to explained the current situation. Im moving away from Guatemala and leaving my family behind because things in my country are getting hopeless. The economy is the worst ever in the country's history, you cant find a good job, all of it is exploitation. Also delinquency and violence are out of control, you cant walk outside without the risk of getting mugged or killed. You cant place a small business without getting extortion from gang members or getting killed. If you are not a doctor then, university graduates from other careers make the minimum wage of $385 per month, while in order to be able to pay for the basic food basket and utility bills you need make at least $1,115 per month.

This country kill everybody's dreams and any possibility of having a dignified future. I dont know if by saying this I will get more help or I'm going to close my own door but another big aspect of all, is the fact that I am gay. Being gay in a 3rd world country is awful, you get bullied all the time. receiving threats and not having marriage rights and even persecuted by the government .

But is not all about me, the public health service is a death sentence. I cant stop thinking what will happen the day my parents get sick and I dont have the money for a private doctor, no other option than to send them to that decadent excuse of a hospital. My parents are getting older and older and I have to be able to provide to them when the time comes. My fathers pension is not enough ($385 per month) and between the 2 of us we pay for everything. But this has to change, I cant accept a future like that.

That is why this opportunity means the world to me, I just need some help to start with the right foot.
