Help Me Help My Daughter

My name is Michelle and I am a single mother blessed with a beautiful 5 year old daughter. I have decided for us to both live in the Philippines with my family, who have been very loving and understanding.

I am here appealing to all of you for my daughter sake. 2 years ago she was diagnosed to having ADHD and ODD. She is a smart girl but everyday has always been a struggle. She is undergoing therapy for it. She was being bullied in school because of her condition and so switching her to a school with special education will help her thrive academically and socially. All these are very costly and I cannot do it alone.

I have sought help from her father living in the US but to no avail. He has no intention of helping her out even if I turned blue in the face and begged. He could afford luxurious things (boats, cars, new house etc.) but never really wanted to give our child the help she needs. If I may add, he has been physically and verbally abusive that is why I opted to raise my sweet child alone. I know it will be difficult but this is what mothers do -- care and protect their children. Everytime I ask him for help, he would tell me things he bought and fun things he do but I would end up being called stupid and being mocked, no help given. So I stopped.

I will continue to give what I have to my daughter but I do not have enough to cover what she needs.

So here I am, knocking at the door of your hearts, asking all of you to help me raise the money I need to continue my daughter's therapy and to hire an attorney to finally kick start the child support. I cannot do this alone.
