G’Day. My name is Phoebe Chong, since 2010 I have been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer, a kind of rare, ovarian germ cell tumour. Currently, I am 39 years of age.

The cancer growth was removed in 2010, via surgery. In 2012, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, En En. I was so happy and being a new mom, I was so excited and busy involved being a good mother to my daughter.

During 2013, my doctor checkup, there showed two dark shadow at the ovarian side. We were so concerned that we seek second opinion and the 2nd oncologist confirm that the cancer, came back. I had a surgery to remove the right-side ovary and was put on a 6 cycle of chemotherapy. I was so sad to see my hair fall and all the side effects of chemotherapy. How can I explain to my daughter?

After the 1st round of chemo and lucky we have insurance, my stomach started to bloat again in 2015. Again we went back to the oncologist and have advise us to remove all remaining ovarian and also the womb. During operations, the cancer has metastasiss to some area in the liver, lungs and some end rectum areas. The doctor have tried to remove all infected areas via surgery. Again the doctor advise 2nd round of chemo which we decided to put on hold and seek alternative.

Chemo can only potentially extend my life but not cure the cancer. Dues to this we seek out alternative.

We manage to find an alternative integrative cancer treatment in Thailand. Because this is alternative, our insurance does not cover the cost and we have used up most of our savings this year, 2017. Unfortunately, the cancer cells refused to stay away.

After 5 years of treatments, operations costs, mediations, and alternative treatments, we have already exhausted our insurance coverage and the treatment in Thailand have depleted our personal funds.

This year the cancer cells came back quite aggressively, and in the stage IV already. There is a gross ascites in both sids of the upper abdomen. There is large mass at upper right abdomen measuring about 14.9cm x 12.6cmx 18.0cm. A suspicious hypermetabolic right anterior abdominal wall subcutaneous nodule.

We are seeking another alternative solution which will cost us up to US30.00.00, which we believe will have a better chance of curing the cancer. This method is systematic elimination of toxins, thereby eradicating both the cause and the effect of cancer.

We are pleading for this funds to help us go though this period of hardship. We know it is a lot to ask, but we are at a point now where the options are extremely limited, and we are just hoping that with the fund raised, I can get on the programme and see my daughter believe in the magic of Christmas one more time, maybe even grow up and get married!!!

I am desperate for your help, so anything you can give will mean the world to me and my Family. I am needed by my daughter and my partner and I cannot bear to think about them without me.

Thank you so very much.
