My name is Michael Figueroa, a 23 year old science communicator from the Philippines.

First, I would like to thank you for reading this personal campaign of mine and for your possible support. I hope you can help me fly to the UAE and have this big break of my career.

Last December 2017, I was very fortunate to receive a job offer to work for an amazing space center located in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). I am excited. It was always been my dream to work for great facilities that are made to teach, inspire and amaze students through the wonders of the universe. Bringing the science of stars and planets closer to children was a job I always love doing.

Unfortunately, with my current finances, I feel and somewhat certain that I wouldn't be able to cover all of my expenses for airfare and accommodation. To let go of this opportunity is an option I never wanted to do. That is why I am trying all of my best to earn and raise enough funds to meet all of the monetary requirements so I can fly to the UAE before February ends. I still have a month to secure the job.

Your help and support will be very much appreciated. Every cent of your donation will cover a distance of my journey, a comfort of my stay, and above all a step closer to my dreams. Hope you can help this young man get there and secure that dream job.
