Help me give back to my mother

I'm doing this for my mother.

I've been in a tight spot financially for a long time, and she has helped me as much as she can despite not exactly rolling around in money herself. I didn't realize how serious her situation was though, until today. Today she threatened to commit suicide.

It turns out she's drowning in debt, which she has for over 10 000 euros. And all the while she's been giving money to me, to help me pay my bills. She never told me how severe her own situation was.

My mother only has a few years before the age of retirement, and she most likely will not be able to cover her debt with work, she's already working herself to dead, quite literally. I was shocked to find out she's actually considering suicide. 

I want to do everything I can to help her like she's helped me, but I'm still unemployeed and broke, so this is the only way I can think of to maybe give something back to her.
