Hi, I'm a student of an Engineering College and try to major in Automatics. Don't have to tell you this - the school ain't easy. It is my dream though and I'm determined to finish it and work in the industry.
Everything was fine for the first two years or so, as I managed to get a scholarship and fairly cheap room. Unfortunately, for a bit more than last half a year, I've started getting health problems. It all started with a bit of depression, which could have been fine, but then appeared constant digestive distress, hair loss, pains in abdomen and back, migraines etc. I was still ~kind~ of fine until my herd of chinchillas suddenly died at the end of summer. I was devastated and started to spiral down. Lost my children, my scholarship, dignity and honestly most of my will to live.
Right now I'm still diagnosing what is wrong with my body (thyroid? hormones? aneurysm? worms?) A few months ago I also got a referral and tried to get a psychiatrist help - but because of my country's Public Healthcare I've only managed to get 2 "emergency" visits. After that my doctor stated that I, indeed, should seek some help, but if I'm not willing to pay for private visits, the earliest dates for an individual therapy for a Public Healthcare could take up to 3 years. He advised to wait patiently...
I need to be independent, but my savings are burned out. I try to work as much as I can, but can barely get by at the end of the month with all prescribed medicines and upkeep. The semester is also ending and by look of this, I'll probably have to pay for my absences and/or repeat the year. I want to stand on my feet, but it's all a bit much for me.
Please help me stay alive.
