Help me get to my new home!

Hello, my name is Sookie, i'm three years old and i love my mom with madness. I'm naughty and restless, i like to explore and rest with my family. i'm white and i have a black spot on the right side, that by contrast, everyone confuses it with dirt and try to remove it thinking that i don't bathe well.

The country that i'm living on, Venezuela, is very complicated right now, it's not possible to buy my puppy food (there is a lot of shortage and when the food arrives to the stores, the prices are very high and my family can't afford it) so my mom tries hard to make me healthy meals. In recent months i have lost a bit of weight despite all the care they give me.

Also my medicines, vaccines and care products are a luxury that with a lot of sacrifice and efforts my mom in some times find and buy them. I'm not the only one affected, all the people and animals of my country suffer a lot, due the political, economical and social crisis that have been going for many years ago and it gets worse with the pass of time. This leads to many people having to abandon their pets, because they can't keep them.

I have seen several friends of mine in the abandoned streets and we didn't know anything more about my neighbor kitten Stains, who disappeared according to their owners. All this situation caused my human family to separate, my three uncles got a new home in another country, so my mome, was alone with me and my grandmother. We want to go with them, but no airline wants to take me because of my weight and size (i'm a very big dog), but my human mother will never abandon me, she is looking for a way to take me.

I hear my mom always worried talking on the phone looking for a solution. We need to make a road trip to Bogota - Colombia, to reconnect with my family in Argentina; a long and dangerous road, but it's the only way out to get planes that can transport me. Also my mom has thought to send my with strangers that i don't know but who take pets like me from my country to Argentina; my mom says it's expensive and i hear her say "i need $3000 to get Sookie out of the country".

I took the serious task of preparing a budget to help my mother in this journey that we are going to make, i tell you what it is:

1. Kennel $700 (is my temporary house, where i must travel, is the largest of all 700 series)
2. Land transport from caracas to the border with Colombia: $700 (it's a 16 hours road trip)
3. Airfare from Cucuta to Bogota $320
4. Airfare from Bogota to Argentina $400
5. Lodging and transportation Cucuta $400
6. Food, permits and medications $480

All these are the approximate expenses of my trip. I hope i can achieve it soon to be very happy in my new home. They say that Argentina is a beautiful country and that i have many parks to run an play there.

Help me to reunite with my family and start a new life!

Hola!! Me llamo Sookie. Tengo tres años y amo con locura a mi mamá. Soy muy traviesa e inquieta, me gusta explorar y descansar junto a mi familia. Soy blanquita y tengo un lunar muy raro del lado derecho de mi costado, que por el contraste, todos confunden y tratan de quitármelo, pensando que no me bañé bien.

Mi país, Venezuela, está muy muy complicado, no es posible comprar mi comida de perrito (hay mucha escasez y cuando se consigue, los precios son muy altos y mi familia no lo puede costear) por lo que mi mami se esfuerza mucho en hacerme comidas saludables. He perdido un poco de peso los últimos meses a pesar de todos los cuidados que me dan.

También mi medicamentos, vacunas y productos de cuidado, son un lujo que con mucho sacrificio en oportunidades se consiguen y en otras no. Yo no soy la única afectada, todas las personas y animalitos de mi país sufren mucho, debido a la crisis política, económica y social que vivimos hace muchos años y que se hace peor con el paso del tiempo. Esto lleva a que muchas personas deban abandonar a sus mascotas, porque no las puede mantener. He visto a varios amigos míos en las calles abandonados y no supimos mas nada de mi vecino gatito Manchas, quien desapareció según sus dueños.

Toda esta situación hizo que mi familia humana se separara, mis tres tíos consiguieron un nuevo hogar en otro país, por lo que mi mami, se quedó solita conmigo y mi abuela. Nosotros queremos ir con ellos, pero ninguna Aerolínea quiere llevarme por mi peso y mis medidas (soy una perrita muy grande), pero mi mamá humana jamás me abandonará y está buscando la forma de llevarme.

La escucho siempre preocupada hablando por el teléfono buscando una solución. Necesitamos para reencontrarnos con mi familia en Argentina, hacer un viaje por tierra hasta Bogotá - Colombia, un camino largo y peligroso, pero es la única salida para conseguir aviones que puedan transportarme. También mi mamá ha pensado enviarme con unos extraños que yo no conozco pero que sacan a los animales como yo de mi país, mi mamá dice que es costoso y la escucho decir: "Necesito $3000 para sacar a Sookie del país"

Me tome la seria tarea de elaborar un presupuesto para ayudar a mi mamá en esta travesía que vamos a realizar, a continuación les cuento de que se trata:

Todos estos son los gastos aproximados de mi viaje. Tengo la esperanza de poder lograrlo pronto y estar muy feliz en mi nuevo hogar. Dicen que Argentina es un país hermoso y que tengo muchos parques para correr y jugar.
