Hi,

I am Leonardo. I play clarinet and saxophone, and I work as a freelancer translator. I've started taking clarinet lessons a year ago, but I've realised that my true and only love is the tenor saxophone. My idol is Stan Getz, and my dream is getting a tenor saxophone and start playing in clubs a là Getz style. At the moment I have an old rusty alto saxophone, that is of no use for what I'm trying to do.

Work is not going well, and I need money to go on with life. I am in dire straits, and I can't afford buying a tenor saxophone. I have seen an old Grassi tenor saxophone, for just 400 € + shipping. Grassi saxophones used to be a great choices for who wanted a jazzy Mark VI sound (they are basically a cheaper mark VI copy), and they still sound great as a vintage saxophone. I would love to get that. I can't manage to find the money, and I'm getting more depressed each day, as Jazz is the only thing that makes my life go on. I don't have anything else. Being able to play this saxophone would be a terapy for me, literally.

Whoever feels like helping me with buying this tenor saxophone, shall have my gratitude forever, and will make me happier than he thinks. I would like to repay you for your donation in any way, but I don't know how. Maybe you can suggest something? I can also offer translation services in exchange for your help.

If you wish, I'd like to remain in contact with you and keep you updated on my musical career.

God bless you,

Leonardo
