Breeding facility for insects

Hello everyone! :)
I'm Sabina, a 27 year old girl, living in the oldest town in Slovenia - Ptuj.

Why did I decide to post my story here and ask for help?

I am a big fan of exotic animals - from snakes to lizards, spiders and invertebrates in general. I also own quite a few of them, and working with them fascinates me over and over again. The biggest challenge I face is providing quality food for them. My partner (and fiancé <3) runs a company that sells live food for reptiles, but in today’s difficult times, he faces various challenges on how to provide live food despite the limitations and obstacles.

So I started my own business this year to start setting up a live food farm (especially cockroaches), but my health and coronavirus thwarted my plans. I wanted to earn money on my own to have to invest in initial cultures, equipment, food, but since I lost my job due to the closure of museums and exhibitions, this is unfortunately not possible. A big blow and placement on real ground was also the fact that I was suffering from thyroid cancer. I had 2 surgeries in 2020, radioiodine therapy - luckily everything went according to plan and the cancer did not spread elsewhere. And I hope it stays that way. My thyroid gland has been completely removed and I will be on medication for the rest of my life.

Well, since I’m still at the very beginning of my business journey, banks are quite unfavorable to me. The ability to obtain credit is completely impossible. The savings are also slowly dwindling. So why am I writing here? Because I believe that with your help we can build an amazing successful story, and I will do my best to raise live food for reptiles at the highest quality level. I don’t want to have live food just for myself and my animals, but I also want to offer it to other owners of exotic animals who want nothing less than the best for their beloved pets.

First of all, I want to establish a successful live food farm, which will cover the entire market in Slovenia, and later I also want to expand or deliver to other countries. In the attached video i'm explaining my idea and concept, how i will breed and work.

To thank you for the donations, I will also repay you by posting you on my future website as a donor and helper towards the realization of the path to independence. I will definitely keep you informed about all the news that will happen on my way.

I am certainly grateful that you took the time to read and understand what I wanted to do and for what purpose I opened this path of collection. Anyway, I want to let everyone know that nothing is impossible, even if life offers you lemons and bad things ... find sugar and make yourself a refreshing lemonade - anything is possible :)
