Help me beat cancer

Alternative treatment – the only chance for me to live

My name is Dorota Nowicka. I am 52 years old and a mother of 2 adult children with a wonderful granddaughter who is 2 years old.

I have pancreatic cancer. I also have a loving family, plans for the future and only one dream – to survive. This diagnosis usually is a death sentence. Only few people survive this illness. I have been through a very complex and painful operation. Now I am undergoing a demanding chemotherapy treatment. I need your help to continue fighting the cancer.

Everything started in May 2019. I suffered from severe gastrointestinal pain and other symptoms, which lead to a hospitalization, and further diagnostic has shown that the reason for my symptoms was cancer in the pancreas. I knew what it meant, but I wasn´t ready to give up, I wanted to live! I went through a Whipple procedure, an operation in which surgeons removed a part of the stomach and pancreas, the gallbladder and duodenum. Some lymph nodes also had to be removed, as the histopathology showed that the cancer has spread there. The surgeons have insured me though, that they were able to remove all cancerous tissues.

After the operation there was only little improvement. Daily strong pains in the tummy, problems with digestion, constant weight loss – that´s what my everyday looks like now. I also have chemotherapy every two weeks, and side effects from that contribute to my daily problems.

Unfortunately, that was not the end. A CT scan a month after the operation showed a possible spread of the cancer to the liver. Now I am awaiting another control, which will show if the chemotherapy is having any effect.

To improve my chances for beating the cancer I want to start treatment with intravenous vitamin C. This is supposed to stop the spread of cancer and also combat the side effects of chemotherapy. It is a supportive treatment, but that´s what my body needs right now. I am still facing a long and exhausting battle for my life. This treatment cost about 49.000 Danish crones which is about 7.200 USD.

If the coming control confirms liver metastasis, I would like to undergo further treatment with CyberKnife, a modern technology that can remove metastases. This treatment will cost about 35.000 polish zlotys (it will be done in Poland) which is about 8.900 USD.

I don´t want to die, and I will do anything to stay alive. My granddaughter is still very young, and I want to live to see her grow up. I don´t want her to only remember her grandma from the pictures… I want to be with her and with my children. Please help me beat cancer!
