Help Mary (mum) beat the big C

Hi friend

We've started this campaign for our mum- Mary. She has recently been diagnosed with invasive cervical adenocarcinoma, a highly aggressive form of cancer.

The recommended treatment options are surgery followed by radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy, depending on the extent of the spread, this shall be determined in the next round of tests. Initial scans indicate that it has not spread, so we want to start fighting it asap. As a family, we are devastated by this news, but we are determined to do everything we can to fight this battle together.

Currently, she has travelled to India, where we think she'll get better and more specialised treatment options, that aren't available here. We've already identified a hospital and they've assessed her preliminary results. She is going to have another round of tests done and get final treatment plans based on this. After her treatment, she will go back to the ashram in Coimbatore for some soul healing.

As you can imagine, the financial burden associated with travel, treatment expenses, and ongoing care is substantial, the hospital's initial treatment estimate is roughly $15000. We've slowly started to raise funds, through family and friends and I humbly request and would be deeply greatful for any amount of support you can contribute towards raising these funds for her treatment. Your generosity and contributions can make a significant difference in her fight.

We understand that not everyone may be in a position to contribute financially, and that's completely understandable. However, your emotional support and prayers are equally valuable. If you can, spare a moment to keep mum in your thoughts and share positive energy.
