Help Manong Mawi

Manong Jesus Emmanuel “Mawi” Fraba has been a beloved member of our family for more than two decades. He started out as our family driver, and eventually became a part of the family and home. My siblings and I have known him since we were old enough to remember faces, and his face was always a constant, at times in the background but always present.

As we grew up with him, he also grew old in our home and now time has caught up with him, sooner than we would have expected. Our beloved Manong Mawi needs medical attention because of the common but grave illnesses that plague most Filipinos. Manong Mawi was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, severe anemia, and tuberculosis. Our family has taken care of his health needs since the day we welcomed him into our home 20 years ago, but sadly, we can only provide a portion of the medication he was prescribed.

Because of this, as Manong Mawi’s family, we’re reaching out to ask for help. A little will go such a long way for our Manong Mawi. It is our hope that with the help from anyone who is willing, we can pave the way for Manong Mawi to overcome his illnesses.
