help man with duchenne muscular dystropy disease

Hi! My name is Canberk and suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - the most common, albeit severe, muscular dystrophy with no existing treatment. Thanks to my perseverance, I have achieved many things that may seem impossible for people living with this disease. Unfortunately, the years after my university graduation have been troubled. For the last 3 years I had to be treated under intensive care 3 times. Within the last year, I have stayed in the hospital for a total of 5 months. All this process has devastated me both spiritually, physically and financially. During this period, my muscular weakness increased. I am having a hard time using my current wheelchair. Most of the time I have to stay in bed. What I need to return to living a relatively normal daily life is a wheelchair that has a stronger backrest and seat cushion. Moreover, because of the intense treatment that I’ve been going through for the last year, unfortunately, I cannot use my arms anymore; at the same time, I am unable to move my legs, back, waist, hip and neck. For these reasons I need a fully-automated wheelchair. Using this wheelchair can help me significantly reduce the injuries caused by sitting in the constant position. My muscle pain and numbness due to the fixed position will be also reduced. But of course it is not as simple as that – the wheelchair is very expensive, highly exceeding my financial capabilities, and for this reason I decided to come to this page to ask for your support.
