Help Mama Leny Fight Aneurysm

Lenissa San Diego, a mom of 6 from Makati City, was doing her laundry just like any other moms last Sunday, June 09, 2019. While doing her normal routine, she felt heaviness taking over her then had a severe headache.

She came up to her daughter asking to be sent to emergency room of OSMAK. True enough, after series of tests, it was a Subarachoid Hemorrhage.

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a life-threatening type of stroke caused by bleeding into the space surrounding the brain. She experienced a ruptured aneurysm. 20% of patients do not survive after the first attack. One-third of patients will survive with good recovery; one-third will survive with a disability; and one-third will die.

Currently, stabilization is prioritized before the clipping operation and by God's grace, doctors were able to control her BP levels.

We were transferred to a different hospital that can perform the operation as soon as possible. She is now still in the ward and is now waiting to be brought to OR (praying by tomorrow, June 12) for clipping that runs around 50K to 100K. Clipping is a surgery performed to treat an aneurysm — a balloon-like bulge of an artery wall. They will use a titanium clip that will be put in the aneursym and sooner the aneurysm will shrink and be gone.

Her family is in need of financial donations for the operation, ICU fees, and other surgical procedure fees.

Any amount will do! No amount is too small.
