My name is Kory Mejia granddaughter of Libia Badillo. She is a 66-year-old woman, a single mother of 4 children. At the age of 15 she made the decision to marry the man who she thought was the love of her life. The situation at home was very complicated because her mother had abandoned them, and her father became a harsh, bitter man with her and her sister. Her sister who was her twin was the first to leave, that made living together even more difficult, at the age of 16 my grandmother had my mom(her first daughter)and since then she dedicated herself to being the most devoted mother to her children. They are all currently employed but with this unforeseen situation they are only able to make ends meet.

Their father eventually met another woman and abandoned them. I say this, because today with her age life has given her another opportunity to live her dream. She is a survivor of this fatal virus that plagues the world today and with her medical history the percentages of hope of the doctors were minimal, however after 1 month in ICU with respiratory assistance and with a high chance of going into a diabetic coma she managed to overcome her situation and leave the ICU to spend a few more days under observation because it was still a case of care, while all this was happening she could not help but think that her Life had passed and she had not lived it yet, on the contrary with every blow that life had thrown her way she has come back stronger, since the abandonment of her mother, the death of her demanding father, the infidelities and irresponsibility of who was her husband, the death of her twin , the death her dog that was her life partner for many years, the different diseases and surgeries and finally this fight that almost took her life.

She left the hospital dreaming of traveling with her family to a place surrounded by nature. Therefore, I decided to create this go get funding account in hopes of helping her dreams come true. Thank You in advance for your help. It is truly appreciated.
