Help Leah beat cancer

I have set up this campaign for my mom, Leah, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Metastatic Breast Cancer.

Just last month, my mom started to notice a lump in her breasts. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was challenging to seek medical attention. Fortunately, within the next few weeks, she was able to have a mammogram and a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. Sadly, it has already spread to her axillary nodes.

According to the national breast cancer foundation, Stage 2 means the breast cancer is growing but is still contained in the breast or growth has only extended to the nearby lymph nodes. Also, it is metastatic, which is capable of spreading to the different parts of the body.

For those of you who do not know Leah, she is a loving wife to Elmer and a devoted mom to her three sons: Elmerson (20), Elmer Ean (19), and our bundle of joy Elmer Sean (5). She is greatly loved by everyone who knows her, and they know how kind, selfless, generous, loving, and compassionate a person she is. She is the strongest woman I know, and she is not backing down from this cancer.

My mom would be needing 6-8 cycles of chemotherapy and surgery. Given our current situation, along with the pandemic, our family is not financially able to fund all the treatments without help. So if you can spare even the smallest of change, we would be eternally grateful for any support at all.
