Campaign Story
In 2019 I, Rene, moved to China, I met my then girlfriend Ira, a Ukrainian woman and in 2020 we moved in together and got a puppy named Kumquat. Kumquat has been the heart and soul of our family ever since. At the end of 2021, Ira and I got married. With the events of Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine, we decided that the best move would be for me to take my new wife to my home country Australia. The visa process and moving process is expensive. However, the price to move Kumquat with us is more expensive and requires more than we can afford. We need your help to keep our small family together in this big move.
Why is it so expensive?
In order for Kumquat to get to Australia from China, he will need to transfer through Singapore and to be quarantined, treated, tested and receive a health certificate before being allowed into Australia, this will likely take 2 months.
The money goes towards:
- Professional fees
- Documentation
- Inspection
- Import fees
- Veterinary fees
- Customs
- Quarantine
- Dog License
- Boarding facilities
- Export license
- Permits
- Vaccinations
- RNATT test
